Sailing: with over 1180 islands, 1780km (1100miles) of coastline and mild winds Croatia is a true gem of a sailing destination. The main sailing season is late spring (April through June) and early fall (September through October) when the sea is calm, the weather mild and there are fewer crowds. You may sail off from any of 50 marinas, enjoy breathtaking Kornati National park dotted with small islets, discover antique towns, phenomenal vineries, indulge in Mediterranean cuisine, and go to sleep to the sound of waves lapping gently at your boat.
Tandem paragliding flight: this is why birds sing! Enjoy most amazing of views and a tickle of fresh air on your face! Simple guidelines are obtained before the flight, yet no previous training is required. Our pilots are experienced pilots and licensed flight instructors. Anyone from 8y to 99y can enjoy the flight. It’s possible to take pictures or record videos during the flight. Flights are performed in calm weather conditions only! You should bring sunglasses, a wind-stopper jacket, hiking shoes or sneakers. Zip line: feel an adrenaline rush sliding down a steel cable stretched over a canyon, safely sitting in a harness. Views of mountain peaks, rivers and canyons is amazing. The longest zipline in Croatia has 8 cables of 1.6 miles in total, with speed reaching up to 45mph. We’ll provide short training on the spot, experienced guides on each end of the wire, a safety harness, helmet and gloves.
You should bring a windproof jacket, sunglasses, sunblock, and alternatively a small backpack with some water and a camera. Suggested areas: Istria, Split countryside.
Sea kayak adventures: our sit-on-top sea kayaks are easy to handle & fun to ride. Paddle, swim, & snorkel, get a different perspective on Dalmatian cities and Adriatic islands. We’ll provide a kayak, paddle, life west, insurance and a licensed guide, while you should bring a swimsuit, towel, a hat, sunblock, water and a camera. Suggested areas: coastal Istria, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Adriatic islands, Kotor bay in Montenegro.
White water rafting: this is an amazing activity for families and smaller groups. Most of our rivers aren’t white water during the entire flow; usually they offer comfortable scenic rides on rapids & beautiful intact nature for most of the journey, with several large waterfall obstacles on certain areas only. However, no excitement lacks out. There are several difficulty levels to choose from, and for most of them no previous experience is required. You should bring a swimsuit, towel, a hat, sunblock, water and a camera. Suggested areas: Slovenia, Northern & Central Croatia, Zadar & Split countryside, Montenegro.
Canyoning: a combination of walking, hiking, sliding down the rapids, swimming in crystal clear natural water pools, walking through the tunnels and swimming under waterfalls. Some places offer cliff jumps, which are optional. Our trained guides will provide you with wet suits, life wests and helmets for this adventure of a lifetime! You should bring a swimsuit, sport shoes and adventurous spirit to enjoy the expedition! Suggested areas: Central Croatia, Split countryside, Dalmatia, Central Slovenia & Montenegro.
4WD off road adventures: if you can’t relax without a roar of an engine or live to make your own paths rather than follow existing, this is the activity for you. Let our professional drivers keep an eye on you though. We often use ATV’s to reach beyond trails, to some mountain huts or hidden vineries on Adriatic islands. Suggested areas: Istria, Hvar island, Central Croatia.
Quad off road trails: if driving is what drives you, there are plenty of trails in Croatia to forge or brush up your off-road skills. The minimum age to be a driver is 16; youngsters may share a quad with an adult. Suggested areas: Istria, Central Croatia, Trogir countryside, Dalmatia.
Wild Game Photo safari: Broad areas of Croatian mountainous forests are home to abundant wildlife. Refresh yourself in pristine nature; enjoy amazing scenery and hike at off the beaten trails; experience the thrill of taking a photograph of a deer, wild boar or a bear from a safety of a hunter’s stand, or even spend a night there! We’ll provide experienced park ranger, off-road vehicles, National park admission fees, meals & drinks. You may spend a night on a hunter’s stand or in a mountain hut. Angling & squid fishing from a boat: if you’re hooked on fishing or just want to spend a day learning a new skill, this might be the experience for you. Depending on your preferences, this trip may be a serious day or night fishing experience, or a trip combining swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. The catch may depend on the season, and we’ll be happy to teach you how to prepare fish in a traditional way. We’ll provide a speedboat, experienced fisherman/captain, fishing license, all the bait & fishing gear and some drinks & snacks. You should bring a hat, sunblock, and a long sleeve jacket. Big game fishing: either you want to add some spice to your holiday or if you’re a passionate fisherman, we invite you to try catching the largest fish of the Adriatic, guided and accompanied by our experienced crew and its captain.
