Istrian wine roads cycling

The moderate size of the peninsula, diverse rugged coastline opposed to mild mountainous interior, medieval hilltop towns, abundant heritage, countless farms and vineries scattered upon a network of scenic bypaths is what makes Istria a cycling wonderland. Local gastronomy of strong Italian cultural roots with distinctive delights as truffles, homemade pasta and indigenous Boškarin oxen meat is enough of an introduction. Istrian wines are very elaborate and subtle, with Malvazija whites and Teran reds being the flagships of local winemaking art. The bike routes are well marked, plenty to choose from for all difficulty levels, surface types and inclinations; from several hour easy family rides to multy day off-road uphill/downhill trails. We tailor tours and offer bikes to each bikers demand.
